Showrooms

In the spacious showrooms in Zurich, Bern and Geneva, each spanning over 1,500 m², furniture, lighting and textiles can be experienced directly, from sofas to room-in-room solutions. Brands such as Vitra, USM, Cassina, Minotti, Occhio, Fritz Hansen, B&B Italia, Flos, Mute Design or Kvadrat are showcased in real living and working environments.

Experience

The displays do not showcase isolated products, but rather precisely designed living, working and meeting environments. This shows for example how a USM shelf interacts with a pendant lamp from Occhio, an Eames «Lounge Chair» with a rug from Ruckstuhl or an acoustic room-in-room solution from Mute with a conference table from Zoom by Mobimex. The impact of light on fabrics, the ideal seat height in the dining area or the influence of acoustic elements on concentration and ambient noise can therefore be experienced directly.

Consultation

The showrooms cater to both private and business clients. On-site consultation covers selecting individual pieces of furniture, discussing material options, planning renovations, configuring bespoke solutions and developing colour and surface concepts. Upon request, mood boards, 3D visualisations or prototypes are used to illustrate interior design suggestions. Textiles, lighting, acoustics and USM systems are combined in such a way that informed decisions can be taken directly in the showroom.

Platform

The showrooms also serve as a platform for informational exchange and design culture. At «Apérteo», as well as at workshops, product presentations and specialist events, designers, architects, manufacturers and clientele meet one another. Rotating exhibitions from the art collection, featuring works by Meret Oppenheim, Markus Raetz and Balthasar Burkhard, add extra highlights. A visit can serve for initial ideation, material selection or preparation for a specific project.
