Function

Freestanding modules allow for retreats, short meetings or focused work and improve acoustics. Mute «Modular» offers rooms with integrated LED lighting, ventilation, and power and data connections. In addition, systems such as Vitra ‘Alcove Plus’ or USM Haller structure work, reception and lounge areas. Acoustics, accessibility, fire protection and ergonomics are considered from the outset.

Mute «Modular»

Mute «Modular» is an acoustically effective room-in-room system made from lightweight aluminium frames, interchangeable sandwich panels and integrated lighting, ventilation and media modules. The click-in system allows assembly, expansion and relocation without tools. The modules can be flexibly supplemented with coffee points, wardrobes and other elements, and grow with your requirements. teo jakob supports you with planning, material sampling and commissioning.

Material Selection

In the showrooms of teo jakob, room-in-room systems, acoustic elements, sound-absorbing curtains and complementary furniture can be sampled. Solutions from Mute and other manufacturers are configurable in terms of materials, colours and technical equipment, and can be tested in combination with lighting and surfaces. For larger projects, space separation concepts, floor plans, renderings and technical visualisations are created.

Space Separation Concepts

Open-plan offices, co-working environments, retail and hospitality facilities benefit from mobile, acoustically effective elements. In addition to flexible meeting booths, sound-absorbing curtain systems—such as those from Silent Gliss—and USM walls with integrated, air-purifying plant modules are employed. In education and care environments, separated areas for conversations or therapy are created, which are functionally integrated and accessible for all. teo jakob develops suitable systems for each use and integrates them into a coherent overall design.
