Bespoke and Timeless

Through the use of warm materials, clear spatial dramaturgy and precisely harmonised proportions, a timeless home was created. The kitchen, living and dining areas are seamlessly connected, combining functionality with cosy elegance.

The client commissioned teo jakob to personalise the interior architecture of an approved architectural project. Through the targeted use of materials, room heights and proportions, a clear spatial dramaturgy was created, inspired by the concept of the «promenade architecturale». The kitchen, living and dining areas are seamlessly connected; at the centre stands a stainless steel cube, complemented by oak, concrete and a seamless floor. The material palette runs consistently throughout the house; directed lighting and spatial separation ensure spaciousness even in the bedroom and bathroom. Here, teo jakob combines interior architecture, material composition and spatial concept to create a timeless home.

The «imma 4-050» chair, designed by Stephan Hürlemann (born in 1967) for horgenglarus, combines Swiss craftsmanship with timeless restraint.

The «Lounge Chair», designed by Charles (1907–1978) & Ray Eames (1912–1988) for Vitra, is considered an icon of modern furniture design. High-quality materials and ergonomic proportions combine comfort with timeless elegance.

The «Akari 1A» lamp, designed by Isamu Noguchi (1904–1988) for Vitra, is crafted from handmade washi paper and radiates a gentle, diffuse light. A poetic light object hovering between art and design.
