horgenglarus
horgenglarus is the oldest chair and table manufacturer in Switzerland and has been producing furniture made from steam-bent solid wood in Glarus since 1880. The «Classic 1-380» (1918), with its curved frame and simple backrest, is considered a Swiss design icon. The «Moser Chair» (1931) by Werner Max Moser combines bent roundwood with a woven Jonc seat. With «fagus noir», developed by Gabriel Köferli and Lars Zinniker, horgenglarus introduces a naturally coloured throughout, dark shimmering beech in which the grain remains visible.
teo jakob shows models such as «classic», «klio», and «ess.tee.tisch» in the showrooms. Wood types, finishes and seating variants are sampled and defined on a project specific basis. This enables horgenglarus furniture to be precisely deployed in dining spaces, hospitality venues or public areas.show moreshow less
