Kvadrat is a Danish manufacturer of design textiles, founded in 1968 in Ebeltoft. It is considered a reference for high-quality woolen and blended fabrics in the furniture and architectural context. «Hallingdal» (1965) by Nanna Ditzel was one of the first industrially produced woolen upholstery fabrics with high durability. «Steelcut» by Frans Dijkmeijer features a three-dimensional knit structure. «Divina» by Finn Sködt uses fulled wool without visible weave, and «Tonica» employs melange yarn blends for commercial applications.

teo jakob designs upholstery, bespoke curtains, carpets and textile acoustic solutions using Kvadrat fabrics. Samples are reviewed in the material library; abrasion resistance, colour tone, and intended use are definitively specified. To mark the opening of the teo jakob Atelier Lausanne, Guy Meldem (born in 1980) crafted six one-off armchairs using fabrics from the Raf Simons collection for Kvadrat. They are available exclusively at teo jakob in Switzerland
