Creating a Better Working Environment

teo jakob created a modern working environment for EY in Basel that enables collaboration, retreat and interaction in equal measure. A versatile office landscape with a clear structure, high-quality atmosphere, and flexible furnishings was created over three storeys.

In 2020, teo jakob realised the complete interior design of a modern working environment for EY in Baloise Park, Basel. Over three storeys, 135 workstations, meeting rooms, retreat areas, a canteen and a life sciences area were created. Existing USM furniture were expanded, while seating and numerous plants create structure and enhance the quality of the environment. This resulted in a durable office landscape designed for focus and collaboration.

The desk from the USM Haller system is complemented with USM Privacy Panels for privacy and structure. In addition, there are office chairs from Vitra’s «ID Trim» series.

USM Haller furniture is combined with greenery to create a well-defined, yet cosy, working atmosphere.

The sofa from the «Mags» series, designed in 2007 by Torbjørn Anderssen (born in 1976) and Espen Voll (born in 1965) for HAY, creates a flexible lounge area. It is complemented by the «Relate Side Table» from Muuto.

The adjustable-height «YO» side table by Lapalma is paired with the «Catifa 80» lounge chair, designed in 2002 by Lievore Altherr Molina for Arper, supporting flexible working and relaxation settings.

The chair from the «classic» series by horgenglarus is paired with the «Still Café Table», designed in 2019 by Iskos-Berlin for Muuto.
