Consistent, Clear And Sensual

teo jakob realised the furnishing of sophisticated owner-occupied flats at Rötelberg in Zug in 2021. In close collaboration with the interior architects, an interior concept was developed that consistently unites architecture, materiality, and sensuality.

In 2021, teo jakob carried out the sample selection and furnishing of exclusive owner-occupied flats at Rötelberg above the city of Zug. In collaboration with MN Architecture & Interior GmbH and Studio Komplett, an interior design concept was developed that precisely complements the clarity of the architectural form. In Zurich’s Löwenbräu and Mühle Tiefenbrunnen showrooms, teo jakob guided the selection of furniture as well as fabric and leather colours. The furniture was precisely matched to the architecture, lighting conditions and the view of Lake Zug. Through close collaboration and a commitment to outstanding design, an interior was created that unites clarity, material quality and sensuality, thereby engaging all the senses.

The «Mito sospeso» pendant lamp by Occhio sets a precise lighting accent above the «Claydon» table by Minotti. The ensemble is complemented by the «Sheru» chair by Walter Knoll.

The «Sento tavolo» desk lamp by Occhio complements the «Soft Pad Chair EA 217» office chair, designed in 1969 by Charles Eames (1907–1978) and Ray Eames (1912–1988) for Vitra. Also included are the «Saké» sofa bed from B&B Italia and the «X2» table from Zoom by Mobimex.

The «AJ» wall lamp, designed in 1960 by Arne Jacobsen (1902–1971) for Louis Poulsen, creates an iconic lighting accent.

The «Softshell Chair» by Vitra is paired with the «PH Artichoke» pendant lamp, designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen (1894–1967) for Louis Poulsen.

Free-standing and table lamps from the «IC» collection by Flos are paired with the «Saarinen» side table by Knoll and the «Tatlin» bed by Minotti.

The «Grand Repos» armchair with ottoman, created in 2011 by Antonio Citterio (born in 1950) for Vitra, invites relaxation.

«Decisive was the precise harmonisation of architecture, materiality, and furniture. Each piece of furniture was deliberately selected to align light, proportion and view, creating a sensual overall experience that unites clarity and cosiness
