Promoting Young Talent

For decades, apprentices have been trained at several locations and have been given opportunities for further career development within the company. The Prix Teo prize is awarded annually at HEAD Genève for the best diploma thesis in the field of interior architecture.

«Prix teo» for Interior Architecture

At the graduation ceremony of the Geneva School of Art and Design (HEAD – Genève), awards for outstanding Bachelor’s and Master’s theses, donated by companies and foundations, are also presented each year. Since 2011, teo jakob has annually donated the Prix Teo, a CHF 5,000 prize for the best thesis project in the field of interior architecture. With this long-standing commitment, teo jakob specifically supports young talent in the field of interior architecture as they make the transition into professional life.

Vocational Training

We are not only masters in the art of interior design, we also provide training in it: For 10 years now, teo jakob has been offering comprehensive and varied apprenticeships at multiple locations. Numerous apprentices have been successfully supported by our vocational trainers during their training as business administrators and retail professionals in the furniture sector; many were also able to continue their careers within the company after completing their vocational training. With this training commitment, teo jakob combines professional excellence with social responsibility as an SME and actively supports Switzerland’s dual education system.
