Business

Grossraumbüro mit Arbeitsplatzreihen und Akustiktrennwänden, in einem Schweizer Bürokomplex.

Functional working and harmonious reception areas, flexible educational spaces or carefully planned care facilities: teo jakob delivers interior design solutions for businesses and institutions. Thereby we focus on specific requirements such as workflows, technical specifications, design preferences and sustainability. Whether an office, hotel, restaurant, school or embassy – every project is tailored individually and supported over the long term.

Service Workflow

01

Analysis

Whether administration facilities, educational facilities or co-working spaces: Each space has specific requirements regarding usage, atmosphere and organisation. A thorough analysis forms the basis for every project. In addition to a precise assessment of type of space, infrastructure and equipment, work processes, acoustic conditions, lighting and material usage are also reviewed. In workshops or on-site visits, a clear picture of the spatial, organisational, and aesthetic requirements emerges – documented in a requirements specification that serves as a decision-making basis for the concept, schedule and budget.

02

Inspiration

The showrooms in Bern, Zurich and Geneva showcase fully furnished work environments: conference rooms, retreat areas, lounge areas, tea points and modular room-in-room systems. Elements such as adjustable-height tables, USM furniture or the Mute Modular cabin demonstrate how furnishings, lighting and acoustics combine to create functional spaces. Companies and institutions gain insight into tried-and-tested solutions and ideas for cultural transformation within the professional environment.

03

Concept

Based on the requirements, an integrated spatial concept is developed that unites function, identity and design. Furniture, lighting concepts, material selection, acoustics and technical aspects such as bespoke pieces or scalable systems without structural modifications are harmonised with one another. Change management processes, accessibility and fire safety regulations are also taken into account from the outset. Mood boards, visualisations and material samples define the design more precisely.

04

Planning

Based on the concept, the details are refined: room layout, products, colours and textures are defined, plans and bills of materials are created. teo jakob coordinates tenders, reviews quotations, plans delivery logistics and obtains the necessary permits. The focus is on transparent cost management, realistic scheduling and optimal co-ordination with internal and external partners – from interior architecture to lighting and acoustics planning, up to and including the engagement of experts in specialised crafts.

05

Realisation

Whether a tea point or an entire hospital wing: teo jakob assumes responsibility for construction management, co-ordinates the parties involved and oversees timelines and costs. The furniture is installed, bespoke solutions are integrated and technical systems are connected – precisely, meticulously and excellently co-ordinated. Even after project completion, teo jakob supports your operation with after-sales service, retrofits, spare parts, and long-term support for complex projects.
