Foscarini was founded in 1981 on Murano and develops luminaires in close collaboration with international designers. «Caboche» by Patricia Urquiola combines an inner diffuser with an outer layer of transparent spheres, which break up the light and diffuse it as a faceted volume. «Twiggy» by Marc Sadler uses an elastic fibreglass composite arc for large spans with minimal materiality. «Rituals» transfers the structure of cut glass vessels into mouth-blown glass. «Aplomb» shapes concrete into a thin-walled shade.
