Bringing Memories to a New Home

teo jakob supported a young family with their move to a sunlit villa and developed an interior concept that presents their existing furniture in a new light. Familiar pieces and selected additions form a harmonious, timeless composition.

A large part of the existing furnishings, originally planned by teo jakob for the family’s previous home, was integrated into the sunlit villa and newly arranged. The aim was to let familiar pieces live on while at the same time adapting them to the new architecture. The elegant sofa from the former living area found a new home in the TV room, offering both comfort and the practicality of a guest bed. Existing lighting was complemented by carefully selected new models, refining the overall aesthetic. In this way, teo jakob created an interior concept that combines versatility, durability and timeless elegance.

The «Saarinen» dining table by Knoll is paired with «Softshell» chairs, designed in 2008 by Ronan (born in 1971) and Erwan Bouroullec (born in 1976) for Vitra. The «Hamilton» sofa by Minotti and the «Taidgh» wall shelves by ClassiCon round off the living area.

The «Ply» rug, designed in 2012 by Margrethe Odgaard (born in 1978) for Muuto, is paired with the «9» side table by Cassina, the «Refolo» table by Cassina, and the «Enoki» side table, designed in 2008 by Philipp Mainzer (born in 1963) for e15.

The «Backenzahn» stool, designed in 1996 by Philipp Mainzer (born in 1963) for e15, creates a strong accent in solid wood.

The «Nex Pur» sideboard, designed by Piure, impresses with its minimalist lines and clear functionality.

In the bedroom, the «Cestita» portable lamp, designed in 1962 by Miguel Milá (1931–2024) for Santa & Cole, creates a warm and atmospheric glow.

In the TV room, the «Swan» armchair by Fritz Hansen is combined with the «Nex Pur» sideboard by Piure. The «Big Shadow» standing lamp by Cappellini, the «randomito» wall shelves by MDF Italia, and the «Nebula» rug by Sula complement the ensemble.
