Peaceful Oasis

In 2020, teo jakob realised the interior architecture and furnishing concept for a fully renovated chalet in Gstaad. With high-quality materials, soft textiles and meticulous overall planning, an elegant mountain retreat was created.

teo jakob developed the master plan in close collaboration with the client and visualised all rooms using 2D and 3D planning. During the site visit, proportions and lighting conditions were precisely analysed. The careful co-ordination of materials, colours, and textiles took place with a dialogue based on trust. Enriched by the expertise of specialised designers and textile consultants, a refined, tranquil interior emerged. The result is an elegant retreat that combines alpine architecture with modern living.

The «Heracleum III» pendant lamp, designed in 2010 by Bertjan Pot (born in 1975) for Moooi, makes a poetic lighting statement with its delicate structure.
