In the newly built house with patio, teo jakob coordinated the builder, electrical contractors and suppliers, and defined lighting points, connections and material selection as the basis for the interior design. After moving in, contemporary designs such as the «Sutoa» drawer stack by Frama, the «Wetli Table» by Atelier Alinea, and the «14» pendant lamp by Bocci complemented the existing furniture.
The «Sutoa» drawer stack, designed by Keiji Ashizawa for Frama, gives structure to the space, and is complemented by the «Series 7» chair, designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, the «Cypris» mirror, designed by Nina Mair for ClassiCon, and the «Tropicana 6» rug, designed by Nadja Stäubli for Sula.
In the living area, the «Wetli» table, designed by Kaspar Wetli for Atelier Alinea, is positioned next to the «Jack» shelving unit, designed by Michael Anastassiades in 2018 for B&B Italia. The «Échasse» bowl, designed by Theresa Arns for Menu, and the «Flowerpot» table lamp, designed by Verner Panton in 1968 for &Tradition, add complementary accents. In the bedroom, the «Charles» bed, designed by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia, and the «Match» side table, designed by Markus Jehs and Jürgen Laub for Schönbuch, create a calm unity.
At the staircase, the «14 Series» pendant lamp, designed by Omer Arbel in 2005 for Bocci, creates a vertical accent.
A playful accent for everyday life: the «Eames Elephant Plywood», designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1945 for Vitra. An experimental plywood object designed for the MoMA «Organic Design» competition, it was only realised in series-production quality decades later.
In the patio stands the «1966» chaise longue, designed by Richard Schultz in 1966 for Knoll, a weather-resistant aluminium design that remains a standard of durability to this day.
