Architecture firm in Genève

teo jakob realised a versatile workspace concept for the architecture firm CCHE in Geneva, designed to support different ways of working. Through carefully planned furnishings, the integration of existing furniture and custom-made elements, a flexible office landscape was created across two floors.

For the new office spaces of CCHE Genève, the interior architecture across two floors of an existing office building was developed by CCHE Genève. In 2023, teo jakob was responsible for the furnishing concept, implementing an interior solution that functionally complements the open spatial structure. The exposed concrete framework and visible technical installations reinforce the industrial character of the spaces. Custom-made solid wood shelving structures the areas and creates clearly defined zones. Existing USM furniture was reconfigured and now serves as flexible storage and room-dividing elements. The concept is complemented by height-adjustable workstations and a large high table within the material library.

The «Vuelta» sofa, designed in 2016 by Jaime Hayon (1974) for Wittmann, creates an informal meeting place for exchange and short breaks throughout the working day.

The shelving system by USM Modular Furniture, designed in 1963 by Fritz Haller (1924–2012) and Paul Schärer (1933–2011), is used by teo jakob as a flexible storage and spatial structuring element within the workplace environment.

«The workspace designed for CCHE Genève was intended to reflect openness, flexibility and materiality in equal measure. Through the combination of existing furniture, custom-made elements and clearly defined zones, we created an environment that actively supports creative collaboration.»
