Healing Architecture in Geneva

teo jakob developed a furnishing concept for the Rive Droite Radiology Institute in Geneva according to the principles of Healing Architecture. Through colour, material and targeted furnishings, an environment was created that balances medical precision with patient well-being.

The location is situated in a heritage-listed building on Rue de Chantepoulet, which was meticulously renovated in collaboration with architect Jörg Frédéric. Cool wall colours define the architectural setting, whilst colourful seating, including armchairs, adds warm accents. This created an environment that embodies the ethos of Healing Architecture and reveals the positive impact of spatial design on health and well-being.

The «Softshell» armchair, designed in 2008 by Ronan (born in 1971) and Erwan Bouroullec (born in 1976) for Vitra, is paired with the «East River» armchair, created in 2010 by Hella Jongerius (born in 1963) for Vitra. The combination sets warm accents in the waiting area.
