In care and nursing facilities, safety and fire protection standards play a central role. For this project, designed by von Ballmoos Krucker Architekten AG, Zurich, escape routes, material specifications, flame-retardant fabrics, as well as age-appropriate seat heights and armrests, had to be meticulously addressed. The challenge lay in creating a welcoming atmosphere despite these requirements. With this project, teo jakob demonstrates its expertise in furnishing care and residential buildings, where regulatory requirements and cosy design are equally balanced.
