teo jakob supported the project by dopo Innenarchitektur with its wide selection of collections for the choice of colours and samples. Thanks to our long standing collaboration and our understanding of dopo’s design language, supporting projects like these is especially exciting for us.

For AXA XL’s new location, teo jakob supplied furniture and supported the architects in selecting textures and material finishes for the furnishings. The challenge was to find and combine, within the respective furniture collections, the fabrics in matching colours for the bespoke joinery elements designed by dopo specifically for the project. The flexible office landscape integrates existing furniture and creates new open workspaces, meeting areas and informal gathering points for everyday work.

The «Rookie High» chair, designed in 2018 by Konstantin Grcic (born in 1965) for Vitra, is paired with the «Mr. Square» chair, designed in 2009 by Peter Horn (born in 1964) for Richard Lampert. Together, they form functional seating solutions for various working and meeting situations.

The «Utrecht» armchair, designed in 1935 by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld (1888–1964) for Cassina, meets the «Delphi» sofa, designed in 2007 by Hannes Wettstein (1958–2008) for Fredericia. With the «Merger» rug by Kvadrat, a serene seating area for focused work and interaction is created.

The open plan workspace is complemented by the Talky Box (2021), designed by Stephan Hürlemann (1972). It creates space for focused work and confidential conversations.

The «Soft Work» sofa, designed in 2018 by Edward Barber (born in 1969) and Jay Osgerby (born in 1970) for Vitra, creates flexible areas for collaboration and interaction.

In the canteen, the classic «Select» chair, designed by Werner Max Moser (1896–1970) for horgenglarus, is showcased.
