Studio of Possibilities

teo jakob, in partnership with Dopo Interior Design, designed a modern office environment for AXA XL in Zurich that combines flexibility, collaboration and concentration. Through targeted furnishing and choice of colours and patterns, an office landscape was created, conceived as a «studio of possibilities».

For AXA XL’s new location in Zurich, teo jakob, in collaboration with Dopo Interior Design, was responsible for furnishing a contemporary working environment. During the move from Limmatstrasse to Ernst Nobs Platz, the aim was to create a flexible office environment and seamlessly incorporate existing furniture. Open working areas, meeting areas and informal meeting points now form a versatile structure that supports the daily work routine.

The «Rookie High» chair, designed in 2018 by Konstantin Grcic (born in 1965) for Vitra, is paired with the «Mr. Square» chair, designed in 2009 by Peter Horn (born in 1964) for Richard Lampert. Together, they form functional seating solutions for various working and meeting situations.

The «Utrecht» armchair, designed in 1935 by Gerrit Thomas Rietveld (1888–1964) for Cassina, meets the «Delphi» sofa, designed in 2007 by Hannes Wettstein (1958–2008) for Fredericia. With the «Merger» rug by Kvadrat, a serene seating area for focused work and interaction is created.

The open-plan workspace is complemented by an acoustic pod from Mute, which provides a retreat for focused work and confidential conversations.

The «Soft Work» sofa, designed in 2018 by Edward Barber (born in 1969) and Jay Osgerby (born in 1970) for Vitra, creates flexible areas for collaboration and interaction.

In the canteen, the classic «Select» chair, designed by Werner Max Moser (1896–1970) for horgenglarus, is showcased.
