For the new Théâtre de Carouge, teo jakob developed a furnishing concept in 2022 that carefully complements the building’s clear architectural language. As a long-standing partner of the theatre, teo jakob aimed to create an interior that combines functionality, atmosphere and architectural identity. The project features re-edited chairs and stools by Jean Prouvé in wood and metal, combined with custom-made solid oak tables by the Swiss manufacturer Mobimex. All furniture pieces were precisely tailored to the specific needs of the project while complying with strict fire safety regulations. The result is a restrained yet warm interior that enhances the public character of the building and invites visitors to stay and gather.
