Nothing Left to Chance

In 2021, teo jakob developed the furnishing concept for the International Conference Center Geneva (CICG). Custom-made furniture, a refined colour concept and individually designed seating solutions create elegant hospitality spaces with a welcoming atmosphere.

For the International Conference Center Geneva (CICG), teo jakob developed a comprehensive furnishing concept in collaboration with GMAA – GM Architectes Associés in 2021. The renovation focused on flooring, lighting and furniture for the Bar Léman and Club Lounge areas, with the aim of creating a warm and sociable environment for international guests. teo jakob designed several versions of the «Miles» armchair by Wittmann, coordinated within a sophisticated colour scheme featuring a wide range of fabric and leather finishes. All materials met the strict fire safety standards of the canton of Geneva. Custom-made benches, matching «Miles» tables and lighting by Pulpo complete the interior concept. The result is a refined and timeless environment that combines functionality, comfort and strong visual identity.

The «Stellar» pendant lights, designed by Sebastian Herkner (1981) for Pulpo, add precise lighting accents above the «Miles» stools, «Miles» armchairs, «Miles» bistro tables and «Merwyn» armchairs, enhancing the sociable atmosphere.

«For this project, the precise coordination of colours, materials and furnishings was essential. Together with the architects, we created an atmosphere that feels international while also conveying warmth and comfort.»
